The groups BLACKPINK and SEVENTEEN won two awards at the 2022 MTV EMA. BTS has won the award for the fifth consecutive year.

The 2022 MTV Europe Music Awards (2022 MTV EMA) was held at PSD Bank Dome in Dusseldorf, Germany on the 13th (local time).

At the event, Europe’s largest pop music awards, BLACKPINK won two awards. They include the “Best Metaverse Performance” category and member Lisa’s “Best K-pop” award.

Lisa became the main character in the best K-pop category after competing with BLACKPINK, BTS, SEVENTEEN, TWICE, and ITZY.

TXT, who was the only candidate for the K-pop group in the “Best Asia Act” category this year, also won its first award.
