Billboard announced on its official Twitter account on the 9th that “BTS Jean’s ‘The Astronut’ has entered the 51st place on the latest Hot 100 chart.”
This is the first time that Jin has entered the Hot 100 chart with a solo song.

In addition, “The Astronut” ranked sixth and tenth on Billboard’s global charts, “Billboard Global” (excluding the United States) and “Billboard Global 200”, respectively.

The Astronut, released on the 28th of last month, is a pop rock genre song with calm acoustic guitar and synthesizer sound creating a mysterious atmosphere. He worked with Coldplay, a world-renowned band from England.
Jin, who participated in writing and composing the song himself, expressed the lyrics he wrote with affection for the fandom “ARMY” in an emotional and refreshing voice.
