Jung Kook of the group BTS (BTS) will take the stage at the opening ceremony of the 2022 FIFA Qatar World Cup.

Big Hit Music, its agency, said on the 13th, “Jungkook will participate in the official soundtrack and opening ceremony performance of the Qatar World Cup.”

As it became known that Jungkook visited Qatar last month, there were speculations that he would play some role in the World Cup.

According to FIFA, six to seven world-class musicians, including BTS Jungkook, plan to perform at the opening ceremony of the Qatar World Cup.

The opening ceremony of the Qatar World Cup will be held at Albate Stadium in Albate, Qatar, on the 20th local time.

Meanwhile, BTS is currently focusing on individual activities as the members’ enlistment time approaches.

Following BTS members J-Hope and Jin, RM will release a solo album in December.
