You learn the martial art by training your mind, Taekwondo, Korea’s own martial art.
Founded in 1972, Kukkiwon is capable of accommodating 3,000 people in 2,369 square meters of Yeongunpyeong, communicating with taekwondo practitioners in more than 200 countries, and is known as the World Taekwondo Headquarters.
In addition to international events such as the World Taekwondo Hanmadang, Kukkiwon promotes and distributes Taekwondo through the world’s most prestigious Taekwondo Demonstration Team, and provides education for domestic and foreign teachers, disabled teachers, and sports leaders. We also host various events such as foreign training and promotion, single screening, and celebratory demonstrations for foreign VIPs. Therefore, it is a must-see attraction for the Gangnam City Tour course.
